“Belly Button surgery”, is the procedure to change the look of one’s navel or belly button.

The reasons for an umbilicoplasty can be a congenital or defect by birth of the navel, protruding belly button with reasons related or unrelated to surgery. Another common reason is pregnancy or weight loss.

This procedure is most commonly combined with a tummy tuck procedure whether mini or a complete tummy tuck or it may also be carried out alone.

It is usually done for people who are unhappy with the way their navel looks and would like to change the shape or size of the belly button.
